What personal information do I collect from people that visit my blog and why?
Name or username, IP address (automatically collected) and website URL. This data is collected when visitors leave comments on my website. Email addresses will also be collected when I receive emails to my blog email address, for example from a brand or a brand representative. This information is kept strictly confidential between myself and that person in order to maintain a professional relationship and abide by the law.
I also collect non identifiable data such as browser and operating system information, as well as the names of countries where users have accessed my website, which all allow me to see my website statistics. I use this data to run my site efficiently and to personalise user experience.
These cookies and the information they collect help improve this site for yourself and future visitors by monitoring traffic of users and success of particular content. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings.

Do I share data?
I do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your Personally Identifiable Information to outside parties.
How long do I retain your data?
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Your data rights
If you have left comments, you can request to receive the personal data I hold about you, including any data you have provided to me. You can also request that I erase any personal data I hold about you. This does not include any data I’m obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Please contact me via email at email@example.com for privacy-specific concerns or if you would like me to clarify any of the above.
